Hanging Wall Vase Workshop

What to expect...

Join us for a Friday-night cocktail and creative clay session! We will start the 2-hour workshop using templates to cut pre-rolled clay slabs into the shapes necessary to build the vase form. After guided construction, you will then be able to personalize the surface design of your hanging vase with any decorative technique you desire; CCB will provide the tools: stamping, fabric/lace/leaf imprinting, abstract or figurative brushwork, lettering, sculptural ornamentation, sgraffito (like the blue checkerboard in the example here)... the possibilities are endless. After the workshop, the piece will be fired with a clear glaze to showcase your unique colorful designs, or we can add an opaque glaze of your choice. No ceramics experience is required. The workshop will last 2 hours. We recognize that attention spans and creative vision may vary and the project can be completed faster if you prefer. All pieces will be ready for pick-up within 2-3 weeks after the workshop. In addition to instruction, the registration fee of CHF 75 covers all materials, bisque and glaze firings in the kiln, a cocktail or glass of wine, coffee and tea. Terms and conditions: The payment will be made online at the time of registration. The registration is non-transferable and non-refundable owing to the limited number of seats available at each workshop. Please note that our workshops typically sell out quickly. We provide the option to book for two people together, but we cannot guarantee that a larger group will be able to register for the same session. Cancellation Policy

Terms and conditions: All payments must be made online when registering for this workshop. Cash or IBAN transfer cannot be accepted. Your registration is non-transferable and non-refundable owing to the limited number of seats available at each workshop. You will have the option of booking for 2 people at a time, but we cannot guarantee that your friends will be able to secure the same session if the workshop sells out fast.
