Intro to Clay - New structure
We are excited to present the new structure of our Intro to Clay course!
Please note the biggest change which is that two separate classes are offered focusing on different techniques.
Below is a short summary of the offers, but we advise you to click and read the course's full description carefully to book the one that suits your interest the best. No previous clay experience needed.

The Intro to Clay - Wheel throwing course focuses on the fundamentals of making pots on the potter's wheel. This is an intimate class of three participants guided by an instructor; each participant will have their own wheel for the full duration of the session. Each online booking allows for one participant so we cannot guarantee that you will be able to join the same class with your friend or partner. The cost is CHF450 per person, all inclusive.

The Intro to Clay - Hand building course focuses on different hand-building techniques - slabs, pinch pots, and coil construction. The limit of 8 participants provides the flexibility to book a session for 2 people at once, in case you would like to take this class with a friend or partner. The cost is CHF400 per person, all inclusive.
Regardless of the class you choose to join, they will be spread over 3 weeks with a 3-hour long session per week (total 9 hours of studio time). The first 2 sessions will be focused on making, while the final session will be focused on colouring (glazing) all of your pieces. Finished work will be available for pick up about 2 to 3 weeks after the class' conclusion.

The classes are geared for adults. However, we will accept teenagers age 16 and up.
Please book your seat when you know that you are committed to join all 3 sessions. If you would like to make something with clay but you’re not sure if you can commit to all three weeks of this course, then we recommend joining one of our shorter beginners' workshops.
This is our most requested workshop and sells out within a few hours. If there is a waiting list, that means that the class session is currently full. We will contact you if a space opens up.

The best and fastest way to get notified about upcoming sessions is to subscribe to our mailing list. We do not pre-book seats before the newsletter announcement.
Terms and conditions: The payment needs to be made online at the time of registering for the workshop. The registration is non-transferable and non-refundable owing to the limited number of seats available at each workshop.
