Open Studio
Open studio sessions are the heart of the Verein. OS is restricted to Verein Members who have completed the Intro to Clay classes or have prior ceramics experience. While members help each other, this is not a class or teaching session. This is a time to come and work on your own projects, practise skills and play with clay in a friendly, collaborative community studio. We’ll occasionally offer Open Studio Plus where one of our studio supervisors will be on hand to give tips and demos on a specific skill. We also offer Apérthrow on the 3rd Friday of every month - its just a normal OS but with drinks and nibbles thrown in. Apérthrow and OS+ can be booked like a normal OS session. Clay, access to the facilities and studio materials as well as the kiln firing is all included in the price.
OS bookings are redeemable through a subscription (Abo) of either 5 or 10 sessions.

Partner access includes designated shelf and storage space, 20kg per month of clay (recycled clay) and unlimited studio access (wheel access may be limited during Open Studio sessions).

Responsibilities will include supervising Open Studio sessions 1 to 2 times per month, and assisting with studio chores, such as clay recycling and cleaning.

Verein members are eligible to apply for Partner access after attending Open Studio for at least 6 months. Applications are reviewed and approved by the Board.
