An Evening of Clay & Craft Beer

Spend your Saturday evening with clay in your hands and great beer in your tummy! In this special evening workshop, we’re teaming up with Raffaele and his Basel-based brewery Fermento for a relaxed, sensory mix of ceramics and beer tasting. During this evening you’ll handbuild your own ceramic beer stein also known as a 'krug', shaping and decorating it using slabs of clay and a range of texturing techniques. We will be able to adjust the process to accommodate those, who wanna make smaller version that can be used as a regular cup. No experience needed - just curiosity and a willingness to play. While the clay takes shape, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of five different beers, each paired with special cheeses and snacks to bring out their character. At the end of the evening, you’ll choose your preferred glaze colour, and we’ll take care of drying, glazing, and firing your piece. Your finished thingies will be ready for pick-up in 2–3 weeks - a lasting reminder of a cozy, creative night.
