Ceramic Candles

All participants will be able to make two candle pots and choose from a variety of natural essential oils to scent their candles. No prior experience required.

​

After drying, firing and glazing processes, Aiste will fill your pots with natural rapeseed wax and your candles will be ready to be picked up and brighten up your evenings.

We will show you how to use shape cutters and various decoration techniques to create your own unique pieces.

Love Bowls workshop

Ceramic Bowl

Are you looking for a unique couple’s experience to gift for Valentine’s Day? Or do you maybe want to make a personalized gift for a loved one or even for yourself? Then this workshop will offer you the opportunity to make a ceramic bowl that is food-safe and can be enjoyed for a long time.  We will show you how to use shape cutters and various decoration techniques to create your own unique pieces.

 

No prior experience required. 

Wheelthrowing Tea Pots

During this interactive session, UK-based ceramicist Lucie Bruijn will focus on tea pots and demonstrate both throwing on the wheel, highlighting key techniques to ensure functionality and attaching spout & handle. She will also share a contrasting technique to create flared bowls on the wheel. The event is followed by an apero.

 

Although no prior experience is required, having an understanding of the potter’s wheel may help you benefit more from the learnings.

Kintsugi

Basel-based Swiss artist and Kintsugi expert Francine Schlöth will lead this immersive workshop that combines practical hands-on experience with in-depth theoretical knowledge of the traditional Kintsugi technique.  We will delve into a condensed version of the Kintsugi technique and acquire the skills to skilfully mend our broken cups, plates, or other cherished objects.

No prior experience required.  We hope to repeat this highly popular workshop with Francine in the future, stay tuned!
